“Relyon Limited started life in 1858 as a wool merchant in the Somerset town of Wellington. Originally named by the founding Price family as Price Brothers and Co., the business moved rapidly into manufacturing 100% wool mattresses that were of such high quality, they became known as mattresses that you could truly 'rely-on' for a good night's sleep. In 1935 the Company changed its name to Relyon Ltd. and since that time, the Relyon brand name has become synonymous with luxury beds of the very highest standards of product design and manufacturing quality.

Still in Wellington, Somerset and using their vast experience of how to make the highest quality pocket-sprung hand-crafted beds and using time-honoured skills that have been passed on and improved upon generation after generation, Relyon continue to produce the best beds in the world.
Relyon employs nearly 500 people in bed manufacturing and is firmly established as one of the leading UK bed manufacturers. Their products can be purchased through many leading furniture stores and independent high street retailers throughout the UK and their philosophy is the same today as it was in 1935: your comfort is their paramount priority.
Relyon has its own spring manufacturing company on site, as well as its own wood mill. In addition to these Relyon is one amongst a few bed manufacturers to have its own in-house laboratory, which systematically tests all raw materials to ensure that these are in accordance with product specifications and achieve European legalisation standards.
Relyon's environmental responsibilities are at the heart of their business. They make every effort to ensure that their manufacturing facilities, products and packaging are as environmentally friendly as possible and comply with all municipal, regional and national requirements and are proud to be full members of the Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme. Their customers can be confident that they treat their employees fairly, with respect for their human rights and will not work with any organisation that either has ever been or is found to be knowingly involved with either human trafficking or modern slavery.
The quality of the Relyon range has been recognised by a number of awards. These include the prestigious Production Guild Mark of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers in the City of London. This mark of excellence, together with the company's ISO9000 certification, reassures customers that they are investing in the best products on the market.
